The partnership between Moonlight Initiative, led by climate change advocate Wendy Omanga, and Ubinti represents a powerful convergence of environmental advocacy and women's empowerment. Together, they are addressing period poverty while promoting holistic community development in Kenya's rural regions.

Since 2021, Ubinti has partnered with Nyando Social Justice Center and the Nyabende Support Programmes to bring consistent menstrual dignity to girls across Nyando, Miwani, and Nyakach sub- counties in Kisumu County. This collaboration has become a cornerstone of our distribution efforts in the Lake Victoria region, ensuring that hundreds of girls stay in school every month.

Founder: Joshua Olang Akado primary school is my former school that is within the village. I decided to visit the school and support a girl child who has become more vulnerable, I didn't only support girl child with sanitary pads but also with a mental health talks.
