GERIATRIC HOME CARE

Akado primary school is my former school that is within the village. I decided to visit the school and support a girl child who has become more vulnerable, I didn’t only support girl child with sanitary pads but also with a mental health talks.

I am super proud of each and everyone of you, genuine youths. Youths that has always stood tall and say “Yes we can. Yes you can change your old ways of doing things and change negative habits. You decide you would not be defined by where you come from or whose child are you, but by where you wanna go, what you want to achieve and the dreams you have for your Country and community.

I am writing this to you young generation at this time when the very foundations of your lives and the old order has been shaken, old ideas and institutions have crumbled and a young youth is called upon to remake the world( when I say young, I’m not just referring to the date of birth on your birth certificate—I’m basically talking about an approach to life just as it is, a quality of mindset and the nature of heart).
The World need people like you to step up; we need your darring, we need your enthusiasm, we need your energy, we need your beliefs and imaginations—a willingness to follow your passion regardless of whether you lived a fortunate thing, a commitment to do what is meaningful to you, what help others and makes a different around you.
I am here to motivate you through experience and education that I received. I know and understand that it’s not always easy to do well in school, I also know a lot of you have some challenges in your lives right now. I get it. I know what it’s like, especially with the orphans.
There was a time when I miss a father in my life, there was a time when I was lonely and I felt like I didn’t fit in. So I wasn’t always as focused as I should have been in school and I did some things that I was not proud of; I got into more troubles than I should had, and my life could have easily taken a turn for the worst but at some point, I was lucky—i got a lot of second chances to make it right and I had the opportunity to go to high school and university to become a medical practitioner today in my Country and serve our people.
You can’t let the past get you down, you have to let it motivate you, because we are each responsible for our own destiny. You are thirsty to lead because there is a spirit of leadership burning in you, you are not ordinary. You have everything you need to get started, you’ve got no excuse not to change the world—you may have setbacks and failures but you’ve not done.
“If Joshua can, you can too!”
